A little bit of fun......

I'm feeling like a real blogger today!

One of my favourite blogs is written by Robyn at slightlymoredepththanateaspoon.blogspot.com.au and she has tagged me to answer some questions after she herself answered some questions from her own blog friends!

The rules:
* Each person must post 11 things about themselves.
* Answer the questions the person who tagged you created, then make 11 questions of your own for the people you tag.
* Choose 11 people and link them in your post.
* Go to their page and tell them.
* No tag backs.

SO....because I'm really excited to be included, I'm going to join in......here are Robyn's 11 random questions....and my answers.

1.  Your house burns down in the middle of the night. Who is the first person you call? 000, of course.....then my husband if he's on night shift! Otherwise, probably my mum.

2. If you could have anything to eat or drink right now, what would it be?
Rib fillet steak, chips, salad and a very large hot chocolate!

3. How do you kill a spider?
I try not to kill them (they catch annoying bugs), but if I have to, I use a shoe....

4. Would you rather be blind or deaf?
They asked us this when we did Spec Ed at uni.....our society is so language-based that as scary as it would be, I'd choose to be blind. Although some days, being deaf sounds pretty blissful!

5.  What would you do with a million dollars?
Spend half of it on our mortgage, a car and a caravan, then give the rest away.

6. How do you take your coffee?
De-caf, half-strength long black. No joke. It's the most embarrassing coffee order ever!

7. If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life, which one would you pick?
Pride & Prejudice....the BBC version.

8. How did you meet your significant other? At uni. He was studying IT and accountancy.....and now he's a paramedic. Go figure.

9. What time did you go to bed last night?
9:15pm - there are advantages to having a husband who needs to study into the evenings - he can bounce the baby (in her hammock) at the same time!

10. Ginger, yes or no?
YES!! Excellent when you've got a cold or an upset tummy.

11. What is your favourite time of the day?
Early afternoon, just about rest time.....and mid-evening, just before my bed time.....there's a theme there!!

Soooo...my questions for my followers are:

1. Unusual fact about you
2. Your first school?
3. Your middle name?
4. Do you prefer tea or coffee?
5. What's your favourite dessert?
6. What car do you drive?
7. What is your dream holiday destination?
8. Winter or summer? Why?
9. Your favourite movie?
10. Three words that describe you.....
11. Most embarrassing moment?

Comments

  1. thanks for sharing Julz...and because I'm awake and alert ridiculously early, I'll answer your Q's:
    1. I dislike toilet doors closed after a few encounters with toilet doors jamming closed when I was a young-un.
    2. Jimboomba Preschool - where we met!
    3. Maria
    4. tea in the mornings, coffee when I'm out.
    5. Do I really have to pick a favourite? - I like yoghurt and fruit for dessert, anything chocolate based, ice cream, really anything sweet!!
    6. Nissan Xtrail
    7. I dream of Holiday's full stop - no particular destination! But beach side is ideal...
    8. Summer - no annoying sicknesses plague me in Summer, morning sunshine & heat, the ability to wear and need less layers, summer fruit, and holidays!
    9. mmm I'm never great with "favourites"...and rarely do I watch movies more than once! Couldn't tell you really...
    10. friendly, opinionated, confident
    11. Well, most recently, was crashing my bike - first thought that entered my head as I was falling to the ground was "how embarrassing - a grown woman falling off her bike!" I wasn't hurt badly, just some grazing but my ego surely coped a beating that day!!

  3. Oh and PS. My most embarrassing moment was tripping on the steps at school on my way to class when I was about 15. I didn't fall, but I doubled over, flashing my (very daggy) undies to my entire commerce class. Including the fellow I was a bit keen on at the time. Augh!! :D
